Katie's Birthday Cake

I felt a lot of pressure (from myself) to make Katie a very special cake. After all, I have been taking cake decorating cakes for months now. When I finished her cake Ken asked Katie what she thought of the cake and she said, "It's perfect!" My reaction...I cried. I was so happy she loved it! It was fun to make a special cake just for her.

I trimmed down the excess cake board and covered both tiers with white fondant.
